PC 911 ACQUIRES FOUR AMBULANCES;
Computing Emergency Vehicles to be Converted to Green Fuel System
Las Vegas – April 8, 2008 – PC 911 (www.pc911lv.com), Las Vegas’ largest mobile technicalservice for computer and network repair today announced the acquisition of four ambulances to service the Las Vegas area, bringing its current local fleet to eight.
The “new” ambulances, at an average price of $5000 each are all Ford E‐350s are models fromthe late 1980s and 1990s and will all be converted to “green” operation: They will run onrecycled vegetable oil.
Chad Stone, Founder and President of PC 911, said that “The $1,200 we spend on eachambulance for conversion is a small price to pay for doing our part in helping the environment. Moreover, it is a clear example of how doing the right thing can provide a business withsignificant cost benefits.”
Stone said, “Each ambulance burns about 50 gallons of recycled vegetable oil weekly. The mathis simple, we’re saving about $200.00 a week in fuel costs, which for us are almost nothing,while helping to keep our air clean.”
Each of the PC 911 emergency vehicles makes an average of five calls daily and carries aninventory of about 500 of the most common computer repair parts, as well as a compressed airunit for cleaning computers.
