Capture Technologies Expands To Las Vegas After Acquiring IT Company

Las Vegas, NV January 1, 2018 – Employee-owned Capture Technologies is adding to its owner roll, announcing the purchase of Las Vegas based I.T., Low Voltage and Security company, PC911/Las Vegas Low Voltage.

Already a leader in providing ID, Call Recording and telephony solutions as well as access control and video surveillance, this purchase allows Capture to tap into a rapidly growing market in Nevada, while pairing with an innovative local company that has a great reputation.

“Capture has been looking at growing our footprint as well as our Technical Expertise. PC911/Las Vegas Low Voltage brings a focus on technology and customer service that compliments Capture” says John Babin, CEO of Capture.

PC911/Las Vegas Low Voltage was founded by Chad Stone in 2006 as PC911; a mobile repair shop that operated out of a refurbished ambulance and set about to fix broken personal computers. Stone paired the ambulance gimmickry with hard work and excellent service, ballooning the company’s revenue more than ten-fold in its first year.

PC911/Las Vegas Low Voltage expanded into employee, network, and building security and has become the leader in Self-Storage security for the Las Vegas valley. In addition, they performed all low voltage and site security for Project Neon which is the largest construction project in the history of Nevada.

Stone has worked successfully with Capture Technologies and its CEO John Babin for more than a decade, making this new partnership a very comfortable union.

“When the time came to advance our business to the next level, it only seemed natural to consider joining up with Capture Technologies in some way,” Stone says. “Thru this sale and new partnership both PC911/Las Vegas Low Voltage and Capture Technologies are positioning ourselves to be a regional powerhouse in corporate low voltage and security and the dominant player in Self-Storage for the entire West Coast.”

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1948, Capture Technologies has seen steady market expansion over the years, infiltrating Sacramento and Los Angeles before this latest move to Las Vegas. Stone sees the benefit in joining forces with such a strong and stable company.

“Not only is this great for our customers, it is great for our employees too. By joining a 70-year old Employee-Owned company we are able to offer all of our current employees a real stake in their own future, which really excites me!” said Stone.

Purchasing PC911/Las Vegas Low Voltage allows Capture to expand its winning formula into a new marketplace and CEO Babin looks forward to bringing their solutions to Nevada in order to capture a piece of the action.

“The combined company will bring new solutions to the combined customer base. I am really excited in the merged expertise that will increase the value we offer to our valued clients”, says Babin.

Capture Technologies specializes in call center and telephony solutions as well as video surveillance and ID solutions for a variety of businesses and government agencies.

Stern and Company Press Release – “PC911 Acquires Four Ambulances”

Computing Emergency Vehicles to be Converted to Green Fuel System

Las Vegas – April 8, 2008 – PC 911 (, Las Vegas’ largest mobile technicalservice for computer and network repair today announced the acquisition of four ambulances to service the Las Vegas area, bringing its current local fleet to eight.

The “new” ambulances, at an average price of $5000 each are all Ford E‐350s are models fromthe late 1980s and 1990s and will all be converted to “green” operation: They will run onrecycled vegetable oil.

Chad Stone, Founder and President of PC 911, said that “The $1,200 we spend on eachambulance for conversion is a small price to pay for doing our part in helping the environment. Moreover, it is a clear example of how doing the right thing can provide a business withsignificant cost benefits.”

Stone said, “Each ambulance burns about 50 gallons of recycled vegetable oil weekly. The mathis simple, we’re saving about $200.00 a week in fuel costs, which for us are almost nothing, while helping to keep our air clean.”

Each of the PC 911 emergency vehicles makes an average of five calls daily and carries aninventory of about 500 of the most common computer repair parts, as well as a compressed airunit for cleaning computers.

That ambulance across street in the wee small hours of the morning doesn’t necessarily mean that your neighbor’s ill or been injured. In Las Vegas, Nevada or Phoenix, Arizona it often means that your neighbor’s computer is ill.

It could well be PC911, the Southwest’s fastest growing green computer repair service, on a rescue mission. PC911 is the Southwest’s, and as far as we know, the nation’s only mobile technical service for computer and network repair that arrives on the job with veggie fuel driven ambulances. Our services include wireless networking, data transfer, PC repair, PC installation, virus and spyware removal, as well as business telephone systems, to name just a few.

In almost any city in the nation, one can find a geek, working out of his other garage, who’s available to fix your home or business computer system. And therein lies the PC911 story: Chad Stone, Founder and President saw a clear need for a rapid response, computer repair team; one that is highly experienced, not only in the arcane environments of chips, circuits, networking, software and so many other elements of these machines that understand only 1s and 0s, but also a team that was engaging, socially acceptable, if you will: A skilled team of computer geeks who can not only assess and repair home and business systems, generally within a few hours, but can also communicate with clients and understand their needs.

But when you’re filling a need for which there are a myriad of options for your potential client base, you’ve got to do things differently, and Chad Stone did just that when he acquired the first PC911 ambulance.

Green Philosophy

As a member of the community we believe it is small businesses like us who can make a difference. We believe that it is our obligation to make sacrifices and take the first steps, both for our business and our community.

We have started a very exciting program using alternative fuels.100% of our current active fleet of ambulances have been converted to run on Waste Vegetable Oil (WVO) and Straight Vegetable Oil (SVO).

Alternative fuels used properly by small business can have a large impact on the environment. With a fleet of vehicles on the road everyday, emission controls are just one of the ways PC911 helps the environment. Click on the following link to see the latest smog check certificate from one of our ambulances, notice the opacity reading of 5, when the standard for the vehicle is 40.

All the ambulances used by PC911, have been bought used, after their life cycle as real ambulances has ended. We take the time to overhaul them and get the life out of the vehicles that they were built for, instead of letting them end up as more junk in our landfills.

For more information on WVO/SVO conversion and usage please see:

We are always looking for restaurants and other users of 100% pure vegetable oil who have waste oil that needs to be disposed of. Please email us at

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content

OutlookIt is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
